Once a year, the Wiesbaden Council of Churches organises a public ecumenical service or event, called Geist-reich, or “spirit filled.” Last year we hosted a service in our garden. This year on Saturday June 10, it will be a pilgrimage – a walk of witness through Wiesbaden starting at the Old Catholic church, through the Alter Friedhof park, then the Nerotal park, to the top of the Neroberg, where there will be food and drink and a time of fellowship. On the way, there will be 6 – 7 stations for prayer, music, and reflection, one of which we will organise. I hope many of you will come along for this spiritual walk and to support our Anglican prayer station. The food at the end of the day will be provided by the participating congregations. If you would be willing to provide a cake or a savoury dish, or perhaps join the team setting up the tables, and refreshment, please let John Richards know.
