Easter Day Worship April 4, 2021
Please join us for our Festive Easter Service at 10:00 am. Our readings are Isaiah 25:6-9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, and John 20: 1-18: Fr. Chris will be presiding and preaching (also at the 5.00 pm service in Mainz). The bulletin is here.
You can join our worship services either in church, or live online (via Facebook Live). You should be able to go straight to the Livestream using this link (even if you do not have a Facebook account – just ignore any attempts to make you register)! Should that not work, please go to our Facebook page here and scroll down until you find the Livestream, which we will start at 9.45 am (for 10.00 am).
We currently only have seating for up to 45 people (including the choral ensemble and altar party) and today’s service is fully booked. So if you have not registered, we recommend that you watch the service from home, as we cannot guarantee a place. If you are coming to the service, please download the bulletin to your phone or tablet, if you can, as we are printing fewer paper bulletins to avoid wastage.
Please also note that a medical mask (surgical, FFP2 or DIN KN95/N95) must now be worn while attending church. Homemade textile masks and scarves etc. are no longer acceptable.
If you want to include prayers for yourself or another during the Prayers of the People at any of our services, please send me an email

Is on Easter break, returning Sunday April 18.
UTO ingathering
Our UTO Spring Ingathering is scheduled for Sunday June 27. The “UTO Blue Boxes” can be found on the tract rack at the back of the church, please take one home with you. UTO Brochures are available, as well. Each time we thank God for the blessings of this life, we drop a coin into our family’s Blue Box. The collected amount is then sent to the UTO offices in New York City where it becomes part of a fund within the Episcopal Church which supports mission projects all over the world. (UTO Coordinator, Kay Hollis)
Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Vestry elections
Our AGM will take place on Saturday, April 24, but due to current Covid developments and rules will be entirely online. You have received an invitation with an opportunity to register, if you are a voting member. Even as an online meeting the usual rules concerning a quorum apply, so we will need at least thirty Voting Members to be present at the meeting.
Pentecost
It is our tradition at Pentecost (Sunday, May 23) to read the lesson from Acts (2:1-21) in as many different languages as possible. Please let Fr. Chris know if you want to be part of this.
