Sunday Service May 17, 2020
You can join our worship service this Sunday, May 17 at 10.00 am either in church, or live online (via Facebook Live). Our readings are Acts 17:22-31 (Paul preaches to the Athenians: “What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you”), 1 Peter 3:13-22 (encouragement for those who suffer for doing good), and John 14:15-21 (those who love Jesus keep his commandments, that are about love. Jesus announces the coming of the Spirit). Rev. Steve McPeek will be preaching. The order of service is here.
If you have access to Facebook please go to our Facebook page here and scroll down until you find the Livestream, which we will start at 9.45 am (the service will start at the usual time of 10.00 am). Following the service we will upload the video and make it accessible for those of you who do not use Facebook.
If you are planning on coming to church for the service, please do not forget to bring a mask or other face covering, and remember that we are restricted to 50 people in the building. Please also come by 9.45 am as the ushers will seat you to ensure that the distancing rules are adhered to.
If you want to include prayers for yourself or another during the Prayers of the People at any of our services, please send me an email Or if you are watching the service live on Facebook, you can write your prayer request in the comments and we will pick them up.
