Please join us for our Service of Holy Eucharist on Sunday January 30 at 10:00 am, the Fourth Sunday after Epiphany.  Our readings are Jeremiah 1:4-10,  1 Corinthians 13:1-13, and Luke 4:21-30. The Rev. Chris Easthill will be presiding and preaching. The bulletin is here.

You can join our worship services either in church, or live online via YouTube live. All you have to do is follow the following links for the Eucharist (livestream will start at 9.45 am) and for Evensong (livestream will start at 4.45 pm).

Please note that based on the new regulations and recommendations in Hessen documentary proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative antigen test (3G rule) is now required to attend all church services. Documentary proof can be the electronic (QR code in one of the Covid Apps) or paper (vaccination certificate or booklet), or with Wiesbaden’s Corona “Bändchen”. A self-test is not adequate. Please have these ready on arrival to avoid delays. Thank you!

If you are coming to the service, please download the bulletin to your phone or tablet, if you can, as we are printing fewer paper bulletins to avoid wastage. Please also remember to bring and use a medical mask (OP or FFP2), which now have to be worn throughout the service.

We invite all members of the congregation to support the mission and ministry of St. Augustine’s. To pledge, you can fill in a form (available from the ushers) or just send an email to pledge@staugustines.de giving us the amount (and frequency i.e. weekly, monthly, annually) of your pledge.
Formation

• We have a Junior Youth Group (age 10-13).Please reach out to Deborah Cole or Bhawna Paul if you would like to know about joining.
• The book study group that has been discussing C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity has now finished. They are considering what book to study next, one option is C.S. Lewis’s Miracles, but both suggestions and additional participants are welcome! If you are interested in participating, just email: Rampinelli@aol.com.
• There will be a Parish Spring Retreat again in 2022! It will be at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Hofheim from Friday, April 22 (evening) until Sunday, April 24 (breakfast). Our theme is the one I had prepared for 2020: “A Weekend with Thomas Merton.” I have reserved places/rooms for 12 people and 6 people have signed up so far. Please let me know if you are interested.
