Eucharistic Ministers, known as Chalice Bearers at St. Augustine’s offer to the glory of God their gifts in assisting at our worship services. Chalice Bearers bear the cup at Holy Communion, lead the congregation in the reading of the Psalm and lead the Prayers of the People. With special training and licensing by the Bishop, Chalice Bearers can also bring Communion in the form of the Reserved Sacrament to those who are in the hospital or housebound. If you would like to be a Chalice Bearers, please contact Robert Ramsay, the coordinator or the parish office.
