The Teestube, a project of the Diakonisches Werk Wiesbaden, is a place where homeless or lonely people can get something to eat and find a place to warm up in the winter. Many guests of the Teestube are regulars and are involved in producing beautiful wooden crafts or making jams.

Two to three times a year, the Women of the Church provide breakfast for the guests of the Teestube on three Mondays. After our Harvest festival fresh produce are donated to the Teestube for the meals they provide for their guests. At our Christmas Bazaar we also sell woodwork made by guests of the Teestube on their behalf.

In the past few years it has become a lovely custom for us to celebrate Christmas Eve together with the Teestube guests by worshipping together, singing Christmas carols and sharing a hearty lunch.

We collect the following items for the Teestube: Toiletry articles (soap, shampoo, toothpaste – best in small containers), as well as towels, but (currently) not clothing. Small items can be placed in the basket next to the big sideboard by the tower entrance. If you have a bigger donation, please let the office know first.
