Saturday 25 July: A Presentation on “Faith in a Secular Society” by The Very Revd Professor Martyn Percy
The Very Revd Professor Martyn Percy, Canon Theologian, Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe will be giving a talk on “Faith in a Secular Society” on Saturday 25 July at 2.30 pm.

Professor Percy was Principal of the Church of England training college Ripon College Cuddesdon from 2004 to 2014 and from 2014 to 20222 45th Dean of Christ Church, Oxford. He has written extensively, most recently ‘The Stature of Liberty: Transforming Religion and Society,’ ‘The Exiled Church: Reckoning with Faith in Secular Society,’ ‘Faith in Secular Life: Implicit Religion and Sublimated Spirituality;’ ‘Forgiveness, Reparation, and Remorse: Reckoning with Truthful Apology,’ and ‘The Crisis of Colonial Anglicanism: Empire, Slavery and Revolt in the Church of England.’ He also has the distinction of being the only living theologian mentioned and quoted in Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code!
