On 5 September, eleven churches in Wiesbaden’s city centre invite you to the Night of the Churches – an evening full of music, encounters, culture and spirituality.

Motto 2025: “Crossover”
This year, the Night of the Churches is all about encounters, diversity and creative connections. Many parishes have sought cooperation partners and  invited guests, experimenting with new forms or creating unusual combinations – literature meets dance, jazz meets Zen and modern pop music by Catholic youth will transform the Marktkirche.

St. Augustine’s programme for 2025 is both musical and diverse!

• 18:00 Uhr Choral Evensong (including the ecumenical “wandering” prayer for peace
• 19:30 Uhr St. Augustine’s in Concert: Music from the extensive repertoire of our choir
• 21:00 Uhr Joudi – Crossover Worship: As a teenager she sang in a Christian band – today she is a Muslima and writes her own worship songs. Joudi’s atmospheric songs tell of the search for God, of faith and of inner experience – honest, poetic, moving
